Citation Information (Selected)

It is not easy to collect all citations to Russian books. For example, “Obkhod Ravnovesiya” (Equilibrium Encircling) is presented in the Web of Science database in many versions:

Equilibrium Encircling,  Avoidance Equilibrium, Bypass Balance, Bypass Equilibrium, Bypassing Equilibrium, Going Equilibrium, Round Equilibrium, Obkhod Ravnovesiya (just as transliteration), and some absolutely strange title, Novosibirsk for example (place of publishing instead of title).

For English books (even for ones printed by Elsevier) it is also not easy. For example, “Kinetic Models of Catalytic Reactions” can be found in the Web of Science database only for the first author or for the editor of the series.

We found the articles that cite the following books in the ISI Web of Science database.

Some of citations are not in academic journals only, but in encyclopaedia, dictionaries, textbooks, Internet sites

The following paper is rather popular in Internet. Usually it is cited with a link to http://mystic.math.neu.edu/gorban/Gorlov2001.pdf) and as a paper of Gorlov at al., because A.M. Gorlov is famous engineer, inventor of the Gorlov Helical Turbine

Recently, five years after publication, this paper remains among top most downloaded articles in the Journal of Energy Resources Technology (see statistics for December 2006 HERE)
